Planning Packages
Architectural services including 3d images and walk-throughs. Concepts designed and developed to clients requirements. Expert advice on planning regulations and exemptions. We understand the importance of a good design and have a comprehensive understanding of the planning framework and have good working relationship with Local Authorities. We deliver a high quality planning package.
Construction to Completion
Campbell & Carolan pride ourselves for being a one stop shop from inception to completion. We can take your planning drawings and compile comprehensive construction drawings for the tender process or if you choose to go the self build route. Our construction drawings are unique and specific to each job which include structural, mechanical and electrical details all within our scope of works. Detailed construction drawings ensure no items missed during the tender process. We guide you step by step through the tendering process and help with negotiations and give guidance to appointing the right contractor for you. During Construction we will inspect the works to ensure the development is built as per requirements. Upon completion we issue a Certificate of Compliance required by the Banks for Mortgages or for selling in the future.
Typical Building Surveys
Comprehensive detailed investigation and inspection of the construction, building fabric and services of a property. Pre-purchase surveys, snag lists, defect analysis and structural surveys are carried out by our Registered Building Surveyor.
Civil Engineering
Campbell & Carolan provide structural design services. This inhouse service is invaluable as we can inform if certain design features will require complicated details or large beams etc. from the design stage. We have experience on a large variety of structural engineering works including temporary works design, junction design, swept path analysis, roadway formation, drainage design, catchment, attenuation and soakaway designs as well as geotechnical engineering (basement, foundations, retaining wall design, substructure, superstructure).
Sun Studies & 3D Design
Many clients find it hard to visualise plans, we can provide you with the final concept done in 3D. We also supply the file to our clients with a free downloadable app which allows you to walk-through the property. This allows for nontechnical persons to easily visualise the design and space to ensure the design is right and the client is satisfied before the building ever commences. We can also carry out a sun study of the site or a particular room. This allows clients to see what the development will look like in real-world conditions.
Conservation Work
C&C can provide structural solutions for projects where conservation of the original structure or architectural elements is important./ We provide structural solutions that will work with the fabric of the building and provide details to sympathetically restore integrity to existing structural elements.
